1st Line Application Support Analyst – Doncaster / Temporarily Fully Remote
Salary Circa £25,000 + Benefits.
We are seeking applications from 1st Line Application Support Analysts to work with an established Financial Software Company. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an additional Support Consultant to work at their Doncaster location. The Application Support team is responsible for providing support to end user clients. These users rely upon the support consultants to answer questions and solve problems that they cannot solve in-house themselves. We need people with good knowledge of software applications and technical skills. You will have the ability to work under pressure whilst managing high workloads in a constantly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Although the role will vary from time to time, the key areas of responsibility for the support team are as follows:
* Identifying and resolving software issues
* Keeping customer up to date with progress on their cases
* Quickly dealing with Customer queries through the helpdesk support suite, via telephone and ensuring comprehensive updates and resolutions are added throughout the process.
* Assisting customers with the impact of configuration changes to our products.
* Interacting with Middle Level and Senior Managers
* Maintaining and updating documents and procedures where required
* Good time management
* Experience of dealing with high volumes of concurrent case load and working under delivery and time pressure.
* Excellent telephone manner and confident approach to problem solving along with excellent time management and communication skills.
Desirable Knowledge and Skills
* Previous experience in delivering or supporting accounting software.
* Accounts Payable experience / knowledge.
* Knowledge the following technologies is highly desirable: MS SQL Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), Web Applications, reporting/BI offerings (e.g. SSRS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects etc), Remote Support tools and PowerBI.
