The Role
This is an initial contract role with the potential to develop into a permanent opportunity. This role will deal with goods and products which come into the warehouse and assist in organising and maintaining the warehouse and supporting field operatives with collections, returns and requirements of items for site activities.
Core Responsibilities:
* Receive deliveries of goods and supplies
* Deliver required items from the warehouse to project sites, ensuring timely handover in line with Project Manager requirements and maintaining clear communication throughout.
* Check for damaged or missing items and arrange restock as required
* Store goods securely whilst maintaining an accurate stock database
* Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck
* Pack orders efficiently
* Load and sometimes deliver goods
* Keep records of stock and other paperwork up-to-date
* Clean work areas ensuring the Warehouse is a safe environment for all
* Comply with risk assessments
Requirements
You'll have a proven track record of:
Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality reports
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Patient with the ability to stay calm when under pressure
• Flexible and able to adapt to change
• Excellent thinking and reasoning skills

* Forklift Licence trained
* Full UK Driving Licence (Maximum 3 points)
