On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of marine propulsion systems, TQR are seeking aSales Engineerto join a growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a business thats on an exciting growth trajectory, backed by a multinational group and expanding across Europe.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position that blends technical understanding with commercial drive. Youll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and developing long-term relationships with clients across the marine industry. While the role is primarily office-based, youll also attend trade exhibitions, visit customers, and occasionally travel overseas.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, from enquiry to close
* Prepare technical quotations tailored to customer requirements
* Deliver exceptional customer service and aftersales support
* Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams
* Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
What Were Looking For
* An engineering background, ideally within the marine sector
* Experience in a customer facing role
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, self-starting approach with a hunger to succeed
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* IT literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel)
* Full UK driving licence
