Starting at 0400 (approx) Driver will deliver to between 5 and 20 restaurants across the Midlands region, depending on distance. Keys and Alarm codes will be used to access sites and product will be left in designated areas via use of a sack-barrow.
Individual products can weigh up to 25kg so there is a physical element to the role.
After 12 weeks with The Best Connection drivers will have a permanent option.
The shift pattern involves Saturdays and is normally 6 days one week and 4 days the next.
Average weekly hours are around 44.
Requirements:
* A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
* Newly passed accepted
* No more than 6 current penalty points
* No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
Driver Responsibilities:
* Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
* Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
* Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct areas in client premises
* Hold to keys to multiple premises
* Keep records of deliveries, mileage, and issues
* Report delays, accidents, or problems to the site manager
