Role: Maintenance Operative
Salary : £25,444.04 plus on call payments
Contract: Full Time, permanent
Specific Hours : 39 hours per week
Location: Pontefract and surrounding Dove homes

We are currently looking for a maintenance operative to join the team, and the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, or fixing a variety of items in and outside of our homes throughout South and West Yorkshire. You will be supported by the company Property Maintenance Manager
Main duties:
Fixing doors and fitting skirting boards
Snagging
Tiling
Undertaking small plumbing repairs
Undertaking small electrical repairs
Replacing double glazing units.
Proactive and reactive maintenance duties
Providing rota on call maintenance cover
Liaising with home managers undertaking work to ensure timely completion
Company van and mobile will be provided.
Skills required:
Must hold a full driving licence
Knowledge/understanding of Health and Safety
Experience in a similar role
Be willing to travel throughout South/West Yorkshire to our properties
Undertaking small plumbing repairs
Replacing double glazing units.
Proactive and reactive maintenance duties
Providing rota on call maintenance cover
General fixes including changing locks, flat pack assembly, and some garden works.
Liaising with home managers undertaking work to ensure timely completion
