Overview
Senior Property Compliance Surveyor with a strong background in building surveying or property maintenance and hands-on experience in contract supervision, building regulations and managing housing condition claims (such as disrepair) is required for a well-established housing association.
Salary: £47,500 per annum + Benefits
Location: Hybrid working from the office in Evesham, Worcestershire (WR11) and from home, with travel to other offices, services, schemes, projects, housing or development locations as dictated by the role.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Property Compliance Surveyor with a strong background in building surveying or property maintenance and hands-on experience in contract supervision, building regulations and managing housing condition claims such as disrepair. You will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation’s housing stock is safe, secure and compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will lead compliance programmes, contract management, and technical surveying—diagnosing defects, specifying remedial work, and safeguarding the wellbeing of customers, contractors, and colleagues. From HHSRS hazards to CDM regulations, your impact will be felt across service delivery.

Candidate Requirements
* Experienced property professional with a strong background in building surveying or property maintenance.
* Minimum of an HNC qualification or equivalent and/or professional experience; a surveying qualification or equivalent is essential.
* Expertise in preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
* Hands-on experience in contract supervision, building regulations, and managing housing condition claims such as disrepair.
* Sound understanding of housing management, landlord responsibilities, and construction.
* Current knowledge of health and safety legislation; financial awareness.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and develop policies and procedures.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail; able to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
* Customer-focused and IT-literate; able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
