Our client based in Brighton is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. This will be an office-based role, with a competitive salary on offer. You will work alongside Advisers, providing knowledgeable and technical support to ensure the appropriate end-to-end management of their clients.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain technical knowledge of products, procedures, and law, and work with defined business processes.
2. Participate in weekly meetings to organise and prioritise workload. Organise regular touchpoints to ensure activities and deliverables are completed on time.
3. Act as the key contact for clients, managing correspondence via telephone, email, or letter, and attending client meetings.
4. Collaborate with Advisers to generate client reports (e.g., suitability reports, annual review reports, meeting notes, portfolio reports) using Intelligent Office and produce or update technical reports as needed.
5. Support Advisers in using toolsets for client data identification, such as cashflow analysis, risk reports, and investment analysis.
6. Conduct research to support advice, including analysis, technical product research, and producing illustrations.
7. Provide support for HNW clients as required.
8. Assist administrators with group corporate pensions and group benefits.
9. Serve as the main contact between Providers and Advisers for investment and policy transfers, setup, and administration, including dealing with correspondence, processing applications, and resolving issues.
10. Ensure client fees and commissions are accurately set up and maintained in Intelligent Office for proper payments and reporting.
11. Perform ad-hoc paraplanning tasks as needed.
12. Liaise with Compliance Teams and complete remedial work to facilitate business processes.
13. Support the Head of Support Services in organisational projects and initiatives.
