Overview

Process Lead needed to oversee manufacturing operations within the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector in a highly regulated environment. The role focuses on meeting production targets, supporting continuous improvement, maintaining GMP compliance, and ensuring safety, quality, and product integrity. Strong leadership is required to drive team performance and professional development.


Responsibilities

* Lead, coach, and develop a team of process operators to maximize productivity while upholding safety and quality standards.
* Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and accountability to drive continuous improvements.
* Ensure team members complete required training and comply with SOPs.
* Support staff development through coaching and feedback.
* Act as the first point of contact for team-related concerns and performance issues.


Process & Operations

* Oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and targets.
* Participate in meetings and shift handovers to address operational priorities.
* Implement stock control procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and industry regulations.
* Promote lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S management.


Safety & Quality

* Maintain a safe work environment, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
* Ensure all products meet GMP standards by enforcing SOP adherence and conducting quality inspections.


Metrics & Reporting

* Manage real-time reporting systems to track and analyse key manufacturing metrics.
* Report performance data (e.g., production yield, downtime, efficiency) to support continuous improvement.


Skills and Competencies

* Leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with GMP adherence.
* Understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Third-level education in a science or engineering-related field.
* Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.


Additional Information

* Must be flexible with shift patterns and available for additional hours as needed.
