About the Role
To lead the strategic and commercial management of key cybersecurity vendor relationships within the technical distribution portfolio. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for driving vendor growth, developing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring alignment between vendor objectives and internal sales, marketing, and technical teams.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Vendor management: Act as the primary liaison for assigned security vendors, managing day-to-day relationships and long-term strategic alignment.
* Business Planning: Develop and execute joint business plans with vendors, including revenue targets, marketing initiatives and enablement programmes.
* Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to provide product training, competitive positioning and support for complex opportunities.
* Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches, promotions and campaigns.
* Performance Analysis: Monitor vendor performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders and vendors.
* Build and Manage Sales Pipeline within VAR channel, provide weekly forecast updates.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, finance and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of vendor programmes.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform product positioning and strategy.

About You
You’ll have five GCSEs grade 4/C (or equivalent) and above, including Maths and English. Our most successful people are commercially minded, focused, supportive, pragmatic and creative.
Other traits and skills we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in product management or vendor management within the IT distribution or cybersecurity industry.
* Strong understanding of the security technology landscape (e.g. firewalls, endpoint protection, identity & access management, SIEM).
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Commercially astute with experience in forecasting, pricing and margin management.
* Skilled in identifying service opportunities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience working with leading security vendors.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in CRM and business intelligence tools.
