Social Care Lawyer needed in Taunton Paying £36.45 per hr ref OR19024
Full time hours on a temporarybasis
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver expert legal advice, representation, and case management on SEND-related issues.
* Ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014 and related legislation, promoting lawful and fair decision-making.
* Lead weekly case management meetings with Senior Assessment Officers, advising on tribunal and mediation casework.
* Triaging tribunal and mediation cases to ensure timely and effective handling.
* Manage and represent in the most complex tribunal cases, including preparation and attendance at hearings.
* Provide legal support and guidance across the wider SEND team.
* Deliver training sessions on SEND legal processes and compliance.
* Quality assure case bundles to maintain accuracy and completeness.
