Main duties of the job
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting service users with their day-to‑day activities, such as cooking, cleaning, washing, and personal care. You will contribute to individual recovery journeys, promote independence and empowerment, write and update care plans, record electronic notes, and support service users with in‑house and community‑based rehabilitation. You may also be required to administer medication and contribute to care plan assessments (CPAs). The role involves independent lone working in some of the community houses, so previous experience in these areas is desirable.

Job responsibilities
What you will be doing:
* Assist Service Users with their day‑to‑day activities i.e. cooking, cleaning, washing, and some personal care
* Contributing to individual recovery journeys
* Promoting independence and empowerment
* Writing and updating care plans
* Recording service‑user electronic notes
* Promoting activities and supporting Service Users with in‑house and community‑based rehabilitation
* Issuing medication
* General duties such as admin, cleaning, stock ordering, contacting external healthcare services
As a Senior Support Worker you will have:
* Experience as a Senior Support Worker
* Leadership skills and experience

Where you will be working
Location: Main St, Sutton‑in‑Craven, Keighley BD20 7JS With 21 beds across four community houses and situated in the semi‑rural areas of Steeton, Sutton‑In‑Craven and Cowling, our care homes are ideally located for safe, structured and gradual reintegration into the community. A driving licence is not essential for the role, but due to the location of the services, please ensure that you are able to commute on public transport if living out of area. Many existing staff that live in and around Keighley, Steeton and Colne use public transport very successfully. Day shifts start at 7:35 am.
