A major UK & International freight forwarder is looking for a road Freight Clerk with Purchase Order experience to beresponsible for coordinating road freight Import and Export movements and managing purchase orders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of goods. The role supports smooth supply chain operations through effective communication with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.

BASIC SALARY: £28k to £30k plus pension, bonus, overtime, etc
ROLE:
* Plan, book, and manage road freight transport for inbound and outbound shipments
* Liaise with haulage companies and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and delivery schedules
* Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delivery delays or transport issues
* Ensure all transport documentation is accurate and compliant (CMRs, delivery notes, consignment notes, import/ export documents)
