Job Description
Our national commercial team brings together our general commercial, digital, IP, energy and renewables, projects, and procurement teams. We serve FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients, public sector organizations, educational institutions, and industry bodies on high-profile projects and regulatory matters. Our team, one of the largest and most successful of its kind, includes sector specialists across industries such as manufacturing, life sciences, aerospace, energy, transport, and international trade. Our lawyers are based across UK offices and collaborate with US colleagues on international transactions, working with global member firms to support international projects. We also provide a blend of City presence and local knowledge to foreign inward investors in the UK.
We are seeking a 3+ to senior PQE commercial contracts lawyer to join our team and support our pipeline of projects.
What does the team do?
We advise on contractual arrangements related to strategic projects and daily business across various industries. We focus on supporting advanced manufacturing, energy transition, decarbonisation, and productivity initiatives. Our work includes advising on contract strategy, drafting, negotiation, data protection (supported by our privacy specialists), and risk management.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse team that values support and creativity. You will work closely with in-house legal teams, providing in-house style support for businesses without internal lawyers. You will collaborate with team members experienced in industry, ensuring a dynamic workload that includes working on multi-jurisdictional projects, large industrial projects for multinational corporations, and supporting emerging businesses and SMEs. There are opportunities for international secondments and helping businesses expand into new markets, including the USA and Saudi Arabia.
