As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Harlow, Essex.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project costs from tender through to final account
* Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
* Carry out valuations, variations, and cost reporting
* Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
* Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Support the estimating and pre-construction teams where required
* Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within construction or fire protection
* Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration
* Experience working on social housing, refurbishment, or compliance projects (desirable)
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
* Proficiency in JCT/NEC contracts
* A valid UK Driving Licence
