Junior Engineering Geologist – Location: Exeter

A Ground Investigation and Environmental Consultancy located in Exeter is seeking an ambitious Junior Engineering Geologist to join them on a variety of contaminated land and ground investigation projects. This role offers responsibility in geo-environmental/geotechnical engineering or consultancy, with potential to step up from a graduate position.
Responsibilities
* Work with a small team of specialists on a wide range of ground investigation and contaminated land projects, both on site and in the office.
* Oversee ground investigations, borehole logging and coring, groundwater and gas monitoring.
* Prepare and write reports; carry out desktop studies and liaise with team members.
What you will be provided
* A salary in the range £27,000 - £32,000, plus overtime pay.

Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a geo-environmental or geotechnical based role with report writing experience.
* A degree in a relevant subject (e.g., geology, geotechnical engineering, geography or civil engineering).
* Commutable to Exeter and the surrounding area.
* Full UK driving licence, as travelling to site will be essential.
* Full right to work in the UK.
