Shift Maintenance Engineer - Panama ShiftNorfolk | FMCG Manufacturing£49,000 + £2,000 Shift Allowance + Overtime @ 1.6xI'm recruiting for a well-established FMCG manufacturer in Norfolk looking to strengthen their shift engineering team with a solid, hands-on Maintenance Engineer.The RolePanama shift pattern (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights depending on start date), 6-6 with a paid 1-hour break. Average 42 hours per week over a 2-week period.You'll be responsible for:
* Breakdown response and fault-finding
* Planned preventative maintenance
* Root cause analysis and permanent fixes
* Supporting continuous improvement on site
This is a fast-paced environment. They need someone proactive, not just reactive.What They're Looking For
* Electrically biased or multi-skilled engineer
* Experience in FMCG, food, packaging or high-speed manufacturing
* Confident fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment
* Mechanically competent (bearings, belts, chains, pneumatics)
* Reliable, calm under pressure, and accountable
Package
* £49,000 basic
* £2,000 shift allowance
* Overtime paid at 1.6x (not guaranteed)
* 23 days holiday (shift equivalent of 33 days)
* 4% employer / 4% employee pension
* Death in service cover
