An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Fife Theatres for a dynamic and motivated person to join our Opera System Support Team. Responsible to the Assistant Service Manager, your role will be to provide 1st line support and primary contact for all Opera related issues for a large number of multi-disciplinary users. Ensuring the Opera service is delivered to end users meeting agreed service levels and ensuring that any problems are managed through to resolution. The post holder will extract and analyse reports to support the sectors in optimising theatre utilisation and productivity. The post holder will be responsible for staff training in the use of Opera and ensuring operational policies and procedures are developed and maintained.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are essential. You must also be enthusiastic, motivated and have a flexible approach.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday (shift pattern to be confirmed) based within Phase 3 Theatre, however, may be required to travel to Queen Margaret Hospital.
This is a secondment opportunity for 9 months to cover maternity leave, with potential to be extended.
You must have support from your line manager before applying.
Candidates should be qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND level. A working knowledge of Clinical systems used within the NHS such as Track Care would be a considerable advantage and in-depth knowledge of the Opera system.
Full training in the Opera System will be delivered in house.
