A Vacancy at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. We require a Trust Locum Consultant in the Department of Urology within East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The post-holder will join a dedicated and forward looking team, helping to deliver urology services across our two base hospitals in East Sussex. Most services are based at the Eastbourne District General Hospital with satellite out-patient and endoscopy clinics at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings provided by our colleagues within Urology. We provide a comprehensive urology service including regional cancer services, complex endourology with onsite lithotripsy. We also provide female Urogynae and reconstructive surgery. We also have dedicated state-of-the-art diagnostics in our new Urology Investigation Suite. This post will focus on delivering Pelvic Uro-Oncology cancer services to patients within East Sussex. We are seeking a clinician with robotic experience in both bladder and prostate cancer. The individual should have a passion for bladder cancer with the intention to expand on robotic neo-bladders). If they have reconstructive experience it would be advantageous. We have a dedicated cancer team and support services within Urology to enable us to deliver and achieve our 62-day cancer pathways. This post will join four other dedicated Robotic Consultants based at Eastbourne District General Hospital. There will also be a need to support General Urology services and patient delivery.
