About the Role
We are currently looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to join our team to work the Front-End Shift leading a team of six QA Technicians on the factory floor. You'll be the driving force behind maintaining and improving quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of 6 QA Technicians covering both day and night shifts
* Oversee daily quality assurance activities, including audits, checks, and compliance tasks
* Maintain high standards across a range of multi-retail customers
* Collaborate with the other QA Manager to ensure smooth handovers and continuity
* Champion a culture of food safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement on site
About You
You are an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a hands on leadership style who is supportive and focused on development.
* Essential: HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 certified; demonstrable experience in food manufacturing; proven experience managing a QA team in a high-volume food environment; strong knowledge of internal auditing, food safety standards, and contamination control; excellent communication, resilience, and a proactive mindset
* Desirable: Degree in a food science or related discipline; experience working with multiple retail customers; background in bakery or similar food production settings
