We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools across Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner who is passionate about raising attainment and building students’ confidence in Maths.
The Role
* Plan and deliver high-quality KS3 & KS4 Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Differentiate learning to support a range of abilities, including SEND and lower-attaining pupils
* Track progress, assess learning, and support students to achieve strong GCSE outcomes
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and academic progress
* Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 within a UK secondary setting
* Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
* Passion for improving outcomes and building positive relationships with learners
* Reliable, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
