We are seeking a passionate individual to help improve our operations to deliver more for the environment. As a Business Analyst, you will understand and analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to connecting current and future business models and support the delivery of business architecture. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels will be key, working alongside project teams, technical teams, and stakeholders.
The team
The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting various critical change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, enabling informed decisions that contribute to better places for people and wildlife, and promote sustainable development.
Experience/skills Required
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and opportunities.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with projects, teams, and senior management.
* Project Delivery: Experience delivering projects within a structured framework, managing timelines successfully.
* Requirements Gathering: Experience in gathering and documenting clear business requirements.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Proficiency in analysis tools and methodologies.
* Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the Project Delivery Capability Framework.
Additional Information
Three roles are available: two permanent and one fixed-term until 30th April 2027. We support flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with some travel required.
