Overview
Joining our supportive and inclusive Paying for Care team within Adults' Health and Care as a Finance Caseworker, you can develop a career in finance, whilst making a real difference to the lives of Hampshire residents.
What you'll do
* Respond to direct finance queries from Adults' Health & Care customers (via the Council's finance voicemail service and online contacts) to help ensure both Hampshire County Council and our clients pay the right amount for care services.
* Help the team to further develop, implement, and maintain new finance-related processes and systems.
* Resolve queries efficiently by liaising with clients, their representatives, care providers, and internal Hampshire County Council teams, amending record amendments and raising invoices when required.
Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Previous experience in data analysis and collaborative working.
* Strong communication skills to effectively resolve queries.
* Previous experience in handling challenging telephone interactions and extracting key and relevant information.
* Confidence in working independently and using IT skills to embrace digital technology.
