Finance Process Excellence & People Lead

An unique opportunity has arisen to support finance transformation through process redesign, documentation, and people-focused change- combining process design with stakeholder engagement and training to ensure new ways of working are adopted successfully!
Responsibilities
* Lead detailed mapping of existing finance processes, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation.
* Design future-state finance processes aligned to best practice, system capability, and operating model objectives.
* Define clear process ownership, controls, accountability frameworks, and performance checkpoints.
* Align process design with finance systems, workflows, reporting, and data requirements.
* Support system design workshops, testing cycles, and acceptance criteria to ensure processes are fit for purpose.
* Embed controls, auditability, and compliance into redesigned, system-enabled processes.
* Develop high-quality process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
* Work closely with HR and Learning teams to support capability building, behavioural change, and adoption.
* Support go-live planning, post-implementation stabilisation, and adoption monitoring.
* Facilitate workshops, feedback cycles, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
* Capture lessons learned and保持 improvement ideas, feeding them into the wider transformation programme.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional with strong experience in process improvement or finance transformation. You will be comfortable mapping and redesigning workflows, facilitating discussions, and supporting behavioural change alongside technical improvement. This role suits someone who is collaborative, pragmatic, and motivated by seeing people and processes evolve together in a fast-moving finance environment.
