Role Overview:
You will manufacture a variety of components and assemblies using recognised trade skills and a range of materials including stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and Inconel. Working from drawings, jigs, and route cards, you'll deliver work that meets strict aerospace specifications under the guidance of a Team Leader. Working to fine tolerances from 0.7 mm to 1.2mm, precision is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate ducting components using precision hand skills and techniques
Work from engineering drawings and route card instructions
Ensure work meets aerospace quality and operator verification standards
Maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy throughout production
Work to tolerances from 0.7 mm
Contribute ideas to improve methods and reduce production costs
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
Adhere to all Health & Safety, fire, and procedural policies
Work collaboratively and support team objectives
What We're Looking For:
Required:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong hand fabrication skills with an eye for detail
Reliable team player who meets targets and supports others
Comfortable following both written and verbal instructions
Understanding of workplace procedures and standards
Desirable:
Previous experience in the aerospace sector
Operator verification experience
Qualifications:
Completed apprenticeship or equivalent combination of technical education and hands-on experienceShift Pattern: 6am to 3:45pm or 7am to 4:45pm Mon-Thurs
