What you will do Our Manufacturing Team Members, are required to support ongoing operations on site and are responsible for their own safety and the safe operation of their area. In this capacity, you will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for supporting all aspects of the operations to ensure shift team objectives and ultimately customer excellence is achieved. Within the role, you will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with local and works IMS procedures in order to provide a safe working environment. As a team member you will have responsibility for: Health and safety performance adhering to the works IMS procedures and involvement in various safety improvement activities. Operation of equipment within their work area to defined procedures to achieve agreed objectives. Participation in audits / checks, ensuring compliance with work procedures and set quality standards Involvement with line / warehouse operations, which can involve operation of cranes, FLTs and mobile plant and equipment. Use of SAP for recording and reporting purposes. Involvement in continuous improvement activity. Liaising with functions including transport, warehouse, packing, PPC and others to ensure efficient material flow Having sufficient competence and flexibility to work on any of the Manufacturing Lines when required. Aspects of the job may include manual handling and working at height. What you will need To be considered for this opportunity, you will preferably have knowledge of the Manufacturing Lines and the products we produce. Knowledge of the works computer system (SAP) coupled with basic IT skills is desirable. Driving licence would be advantageous dependant on department.
