Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded co-educational secondary school in Caldicot, catering to students aged 11–18 of all abilities. The school is currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their Wellbeing Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to take their first step into the education sector. Whether you\'re a recent graduate or someone with relevant personal experience, this role offers on-site training and the chance to gain recognised qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
* Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes student wellbeing.
* Help prepare learning materials and resources.
* Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and emotional development.

Requirements
* Enhanced DBS cleared & on the update service (or willing to apply)
* EWC registered (or willing to apply)
* Be able to provide 2 of your most recent references.
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have up to date safeguarding training or willing to take it.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
