The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, with a team of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top motoring services. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our Roadside Patrol team.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility for short-notice work
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary
This role involves working approximately 40 hours weekly without a fixed roster. You will receive your schedule seven days in advance, with core hours communicated three days prior, within 0600 to 0200. Shifts include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
