We are a busy, friendly dental practice in Ashbourne and we're on the lookout for a Trainee or Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team.
We are looking for:
* A positive, caring personality and great communication skills.
* Someone who is reliable, organised, and loves working as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm to learn – whether you're starting your training journey or bringing existing experience.
* A "can-do" attitude and willingness to support both patients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Assisting the dentist chairside with all aspects of patient care.
* Helping with cross-infection control and maintaining a safe environment.
* Preparing instruments and materials for treatments.
* Supporting patients to feel at ease before, during, and after appointments.
* (For trainees: completing your Dental Nurse qualification – fully supported by us)
Skills
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is advantageous.
* IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike.
