Valenti Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy, multi-franchise automotive service department in Kidlington .
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional aftersales team, playing a key role in delivering excellent service to customers from drop-off to collection. The position is offered on a 3-month contract, with the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and handle vehicle service enquiries in a professional, friendly manner
Book vehicles for service, repair, and MOTs, coordinating with workshop teams to ensure efficient scheduling
Provide regular progress updates to customers and explain work required or undertaken
Authorise additional work and clearly communicate costs and timelines
Manage service records, job cards, and documentation accurately
Liaise with the workshop, parts, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
Support the parts team with stock control and ordering when needed
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and hit performance targets
What Were Looking For: Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar role within the motor trade is desirable
Strong customer service background (automotive preferred but not essential)
Good communication and time management skills
Professional, confident, and well-organised with a proactive mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Basic IT knowledge; experience with dealer management systems (DMS) is a plus
Whats on Offer: £17 £18.50 per hour, depending on experience
3-month contract with strong potential to become a permanent role
Monday to Friday schedule with alternate Saturdays
Full training provided
