Highgate Care are currently looking for Registered Nurses with excellent clinical skills to join their team at Springfield Manor in Stoke-on-trent
In this role you will be responsible for providing quality, effective and responsive clinical care the resident group, through the implementation of high standards of evidence-based nursing care throughout the day-to-day running of the service. You will work with fellow nurses, care and ancillary staff to enable the highest standards of care delivery, meeting all residents' individual needs, in line with CQC and Local Authority guidelines.
Your duties will include, but not be exclusive to;
· Complete, maintain and review individualised Care Plans using an electronic care planning system.
· Liaising with professionals to maintain an holistic approach to residents care.
· Administration of prescribed medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and appropriate intervention in the management of chronic medical conditions and document the same in accordance with the Company's procedure and NMC guidelines.
· Manage your allocated shift by monitoring care staff performance and, where required, delivery supervision and training.
Required skills:
· Valid NMC registration
· RGN/RMN qualification
· In-depth knowledge and experience of working with individuals living with Dementia
· Comprehensive understanding of MCA, DoLs, Safeguarding and whistleblowing processes.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including competency in the use of IT equipment and systems.
