We are seeking a hands-on Plant Engineer / Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Department and drive operational excellence in our food manufacturing facility.

You will oversee equipment maintenance, reliability, and facility support while leading a team of maintenance technicians. The ideal candidate understands engineering fundamentals, can motivate and develop a team, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Skills in fabrication, problem-solving, and leadership are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor the maintenance team focusing on safety, efficiency, and collaboration.
* Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment uptime.
* Support production through troubleshooting and process improvements.
* Collaborate with operations and warehousing on lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
* Assist with engineering projects, installations, and continuous improvement efforts.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience in maintenance leadership, preferably in food manufacturing.
* Strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills.
* Hands-on leadership style, capable of working alongside the team.
* Knowledge of lean warehousing and production environments.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive attitude and leadership by example.
