Our client, one of the UK's leading businesses (whose services range from Grocery/Supermarkets to Financial Services), are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to generate new revenue with independent clients across the South/Midlands. Our client have been established for over a century and are a household name in the UK. From a Retail perspective they are incrediblypetitive across the Grocery space, and are constantly evolving their offering to suit the modern customer. Due to their growth, they are seeking the perfect candidate to join in a BDM capacity, targeting independent Retailers to sell thepany's food/branding solutions. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Winning and developing new independent partnerships (focusing on independent Retailers across the South/Midlands)
- Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers, positioning thepany as their go-to partner
- Working closely with colleagues to make sure new customers are onboarded smoothly
- Representing thepany in the market, raising profile and credibility in the independent Retail space
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of selling partnerships/products into the independent Retail space
- Black-book/network of potential clients to tap into
- Proven track record of winning new contracts
- Track record of hitting targets
- Drive & ambition to over-achieve (genuine opportunities to progress quickly here!)
- Ability to work independently
- Full, clean UK driving licence
In addition to a verypetitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:
- Annual bonus (10%)
-pany Car (all business travel fully-expensed)
- Autonomous work schedule / manage own diary - expectation to be inpany HQ once every 1/2 weeks
