About The Role
Are you a friendly, child-centred individual passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs? The role involves working with pupils who have learning difficulties, often with statements of SEND, preparing and adapting materials, and facilitating small group and 1:1 sessions.

The position is based at a specialist school in Carnforth, supporting young people with barriers to learning and SEND needs. The role requires meeting the holistic needs of pupils under the guidance of teachers and support staff, including working 1:1 with students with SEND and potential challenging behaviors. The role may become permanent after a qualifying period. Due to the rural location, driving is essential as public transport options are limited.
Requirements
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Prior experience as a TA in schools is desirable.
* Driving license is desirable due to location.
* Ability to motivate and support pupils to stay on task.
* Enthusiasm for supporting pupils with SEND.
* Commitment to personal development.
