Transport Planning Support Corby Full time, temp to perm Salary £30,000 per annum Major Recruitment are working on behalf of our client who are looking to recruit a Transport Planning Support to join their busy team based in Corby. This role will support the transport planning function by assisting with daily planning activities, managing transport systems and providing support to drivers, customers and internal teams. Key duties include maintaining the transport management system, booking in orders and delivery points, entering loads onto the planning system, managing driver hours in line with WTD regulations, handling incoming calls, liaising with drivers, warehouse teams and customers, and ensuring accurate data entry while maintaining compliance with transport legislation and health and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience, strong IT skills including Word and Excel, good numerical accuracy and ideally some transport planning experience. You will be organised, proactive, able to work to deadlines and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. The role offers Monday to Friday working hours 08:30 to 18:30, 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, monthly pay and onsite parking.
