English Teacher – Location: Braintree, Essex. Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience). Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Start Date: ASAP or September 2026.
A secondary school in Braintree is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated English Teacher on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to join a supportive English department in a well-established school.
Responsibilities
* Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing and critical thinking.
Requirements
* Hold QTS or be completing teacher training
* Be able to teach English across KS3 and KS4
* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
* Have strong subject knowledge and classroom presence
* Be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students
