Interim Financial Controller - SAP Implementation
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000
Contract: 6-9 Month FTC - With potential to become permanent
Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading employer in South Yorkshire, seeking a highly skilled professional for an interim Financial Controller. This is a critical position for an experienced finance professional with expertise working as part of a senior management team while spearheading the implementation of SAP across multiple locations. This role requires a dynamic professional with extensive financial management experience and a proven track record in ERP system implementations, particularly SAP.
* Oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance across multiple locations.
* Lead the SAP implementation project, ensuring alignment with financial processes and reporting requirements.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, ensuring robust financial governance.
* Act as the key finance liaison with IT, operational teams, and external consultants for SAP rollout.
* Coordinate data migration, system testing, and go-live activities across all sites.
* Train and support finance teams on SAP functionalities and integration into workflows.
* Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
* Communicate project progress, risks, and solutions to senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven experience in supporting a SAP implementation within a finance function
* Strong background in finance transformation and process improvement
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* In-depth understanding of financial systems and reporting
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
