POWWR are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join our UK engineering team to help deliver high-quality, customer focused integrations for POWWR’s SaaS energy marketplace platform. What will you be doing?
In this role you will work across our established tech stack – Angular, .NET Core, Azure services, whilst coll. You’ll also be accountable for
* Designing, building, and maintaining custom integrations between customer systems and POWWR’s SaaS platform.
* Working closely with customers to understand technical requirements, data flows, and API capabilities.
* Developing integration components using .NET Core/C#, REST APIs, Azure Functions, messaging technologies, and related services.
* Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues across environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and observability.
* Partnering with Product Managers to break down complex integration requests into clear technical tasks and user stories in Jira, ensuring a high standard of technical detail.
* Acting as a technical advisor during backlog refinement, helping the team estimate effort and identify technical blockers early.
* Acting as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, clarifying requirements and ensuring solutions align with platform standards.
* Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to best practices and POWWR’s coding standards.
* Contributing to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and DevOps principles as part of day‑to‑day delivery.
* Participating in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Documenting integration patterns, customer‑specific implementations, and reusable components.
What are POWWR looking for?
* 6+ years of software engineering or integration engineering experience.
* Strong proficiency in .NET Core/C#, REST API development, and cloud‑based application development.
* Experience integrating external systems using REST/GraphQL APIs, message queues, webhooks, or ETL tools.
* Familiarity with Azure services such as Functions, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, and Service Bus or Kafka.
* Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Comfortable collaborating directly with customers in a consultative, solutions‑focused manner.
* Ability to produce clear technical designs, diagrams, and documentation.
Bonus skills
* Experience with event‑driven architectures/messaging frameworks (Kafka, MassTransit).
* Knowledge of GraphQL, microservices, or distributed systems.
* Exposure to security best practices and ISO‑aligned engineering principles.
* Experience supporting data‑driven features or analytics integrations.
You'll be highly motivated, eager to learn new skills, adept at problem solving and keen to work in a growing company. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential as you will be required to interact closely with internal and external stakeholders daily.
