Receptionist Role at Bramley Health
The purpose of the receptionist is to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the secure hospital reception area. Effective management of hospital security systems promotes a professional approach to meeting and greeting visitors and ensures inbound calls are answered and directed to the correct department/individual.
Key responsibilities of our receptionists include:
1. Effectively manage the secure reception entrance to the hospital
2. Greet visitors and callers politely and professionally, representing the company positively
3. Facilitate administration of security requirements, such as signing out keys and alarms, auditing, testing alarms and pagers
4. Carry out reception administrative tasks, e.g., post, photocopying, laminating
5. Operate the company's central switchboard efficiently, respond promptly to calls, and take accurate messages
6. Maintain a presentable reception area
7. Manage or complete delegated tasks from the operations manager
About you
Experience and skills:
* At least 1 year experience in a similar environment or receptionist role
* Competent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* High accuracy in typing
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Flexible working approach
* Ability to prioritize workloads
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to follow policies and procedures and ensure compliance
* Teamwork skills for the benefit of patients and staff
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Willingness to receive supervision and personal appraisal
* Willingness to undertake training as needed
* Adherence to anti-discrimination, health and safety, and statutory policies
