Glenbarr Community Development Association (GCDA) is seeking an experienced, dynamic Programme Manager to oversee the implementation and sustainable development of various approved community capital projects within its rolling five-year Delivery Plan.
This is an initial 3-year employment contract, working 4 days per week.
Remuneration: £31,200 per annum, subject to negotiation.
Location: Glenbarr.
Home working is essential, along with regular site visits and day and evening meetings held in the current Village Hall. The selected candidate is expected to have a visible presence in the village.
This role reports directly to the GCDA Chair.

The immediate priority is to work with our team of consultants to deliver the community woodland management plan, landscaping, small car park provision within Dal an Duie field (subject to planning approval), and urgent repair works for the Glenbarr Doocot.

* Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with residents, community groups, and partners.
* Contract Management: Overseeing works of contractors following tender processes.
* Financial Management: Overseeing budgets, updating plans, reporting, and seeking funding opportunities.
* Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks, developing contingency plans, ensuring policy compliance.
* Performance Monitoring: Tracking progress, evaluating outcomes, reporting to the Board.
* Strategic Planning: Contributing to long-term plans, aligning projects with sustainability goals.
* Communication: Providing updates, reviewing engagement strategies.
* Governance: Managing Board agendas, ensuring compliance with regulations.
