Location: Grays, RM16 Salary: £41,000 - £45,000 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Shift: MondayFriday, 2pm10pm (with optional overtime)

About the Role
Were looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join our workshop team on the afternoon shift. Youll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a modern fleet of HGVs to ensure they remain safe, compliant, and road-ready.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs
* Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
* Complete MOT prep and safety checks
* Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
* Maintain accurate service records and paperwork
* Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
* Ensure all work meets DVSA and company standards
* Support colleagues and contribute to a clean, safe workshop environment
What Were Looking For
* Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic
* Experience working on HGVs
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 desirable but not essential)
* A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality workmanship
