A well-regarded secondary school in Ealing is seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to join their science department from January 2026, working 5 days per week until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and setting up equipment for science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Supporting teachers during practical experiments
Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and stock
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Assisting with risk assessments and safe disposal of materialsThe Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience as a Science Technician, laboratory assistant, or school-based support role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of laboratory health & safety (desirable)
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independentlyRequirements:
