Flexible Part-Time Role (13+ Hours/Week)We're looking for someone friendly, organized, and reliable to join our team, assisting a kind and intelligent individual with autism in their daily life. This rewarding role offers 13+ hours per week across two flexible shifts (5–8 hours each), with additional hours available.
About the Role:
You'll provide tailored support to help our client live independently and engage in activities they enjoy. You will be working directly for the client.
Duties include:
· Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning and organizing.
· Accompanying and supporting at appointments (e.g., GP, social events).
· Joining for 2–3 hour countryside walks.
· Helping with shopping and exploring new takeaways and foods.
· Supporting with decision-making and planning outings or activities.
· Occasionally assisting with transport to church or Bible study groups.
About Our Client:
Our client is a bright individual who enjoys long walks, trying new foods, and attending occasional church or Bible study events. They have a cat, so candidates should be comfortable with pets and free from cat allergies. They face challenges with daily activities, social situations, and going out independently, so your support will make a meaningful difference in their life.
Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is:
· Friendly, chatty, and comfortable prompting or supporting with decision-making.
· Organized, proactive, and able to plan activities.
· Physically fit for longer countryside walks.
· Open-minded and adaptable.
· A driver with a valid UK driving licence and access to their own car (essential).
· In possession of a valid PVG Scheme membership or willing to obtain one (costs covered by employer).
Previous experience as a support worker is a plus but not required – a positive attitude and genuine interest in helping others are key This role is ideal for students or those seeking part-time work due to its flexible scheduling.
Hours & Pay:
Two shifts per week (5–8 hours each, 13+ hours total).
Additional shifts available to cover holidays for our client's other Personal Assistant (up to 3 shifts/week).
Pay: £13.50 per hour.
