Overview
We are looking for the right person to join our established and experienced Procurement department at Dunbia Jaspers. The role will involve administrative duties, liaising with farmers, and working closely with the Sales and Operations departments. This role is primarily office-based but with some occasional local travel required. For the right candidate there will be opportunity and scope for further growth within the business.
No previous experience is necessary although a good work ethic and strong attendance record is a must, and administrative experience is beneficial.
Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm although some flexibility will be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Communicating with farmers and customers both face to face and via telephone
* Booking in of sheep
* Inputting and processing data
* Producing reporting information
* Liaising with statutory bodies and representing the Company’s professional interests

Qualifications
* Full UK Driving License & Access to a vehicle is preferable as we are in a rural location with little access to public transport
* Display a positive and proactive attitude towards work and colleagues.
* Work well to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy of work.
* Be reliable and hard working.
* Be flexible with hours.
* Will enjoy team work.
* Be proficient in Microsoft systems.
* Willingness to receive training on internal computer systems.
* Agricultural knowledge is not essential but may be beneficial.
* Will be committed to working within the company Mission, Vision & Values.
