Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer - Nottingham
1. Basic: Circa £50,000
2. Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Paint Technician to join a busy and professional bodyshop in Nottinghamshire. This role involves preparing, painting, and refinishing a wide range of light and heavy commercial vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards following accident damage.

What you’ll be doing:
9. Preparing panels and vehicle bodies for paint, including masking, sanding, and priming
10. Mixing paints accurately to manufacturer colour codes and specifications
11. Applying paint finishes using spray booths and approved techniques
12. Carrying out rectification, polishing, and finishing work
13. Ensuring all work meets manufacturer repair methods and safety standards
14. Inspecting completed work for quality and finish before handover
15. Working closely with panel, MET, and workshop teams to meet deadlines
What we’re looking for:
16. Proven experience as a Paint Technician within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
17. ATA Paint Accreditation or manufacturer paint certifications (desired)
18. Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems (water-based preferred)
19. Understanding of manufacturer repair standards and paint processes
20. Experience working to insurance-driven timescales and quality requirements
