£85–£100 per day | Term Time Only (8:15am–3:30pm)
Are you a patient, resilient, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Teach Now is proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH), you will work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support to pupils who require emotional regulation, behavioural guidance, and consistent encouragement. You’ll play a vital role in helping children access learning, develop social skills, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Assisting with classroom learning and differentiated activities
• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
• Supporting pupils during transitions and unstructured times
• Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times
