We are currently assisting one of our esteemed global FTSE 250 clients in their search for a Finance Manager Contract Reporting. This pivotal role will directly support the Finance Director in delivering accurate and timely financial data crucial for strategic decision-making.
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office) + Career Progression Opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compile crucial financial analyses as requested by the Finance Director and Business Unit.
2. Assist in implementing business change initiatives across the Business Unit.
3. Generate precise and timely contract accounts, collaborating with finance stakeholders.
4. Prepare contract management accounts with accompanying analysis.
5. Consolidate quarterly contract review presentations.
6. Oversee the review and approval of Contract overheads' monthly accounts with Heads of Departments.
7. Manage Contract month-end processes, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plan submissions to the central FP&A team.
8. Ensure accurate and timely completion of central revenue journals.
9. Monitor Contracts' working capital and ensure compliance with internal timetables.
10. Develop accurate contract-based budget, forecast, and strategic plan reports and presentations for the Business Facing Finance Director, coordinating with Business Unit finance stakeholders.
11. Construct trading contract balance sheet models and order book reports to support submissions.
12. Review central revenue journals and reconcile billed and unbilled revenue.
13. Provide necessary input and support for internal and external audit requirements.
Requirements:
14. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant experience.
15. Proficient in understanding and manipulating data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
16. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed deadlines and targets consistently.
17. Strong knowledge of industry and regulatory standards concerning Financial Reporting.
