We are a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-quality manual handling equipment, focusing on industrial drum-handling solutions. Our family-run business operates across six continents, supplying a wide range of industries worldwide through direct sales and a network of distributors.
Role Overview:
As a Sales Representative, your role will involve providing tailored product proposals to both new and existing customers. You will pursue new sales opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients and distributors. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team and contribute to our company's growth globally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learn about our products to confidently discuss them with customers.
2. Prepare and deliver sales proposals for clients, resellers, and distributors.
3. Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals.
4. Update and maintain the CRM database, tracking sales activities, contacts, emails, and proposals.
5. Follow up with clients to maximize sales opportunities.
6. Provide customer service support, including quoting spare parts and consumables.
7. Assist in developing and executing new marketing initiatives.
Requirements and Skills:
* Previous experience in a sales role.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Comfortable handling telephone calls with customers.
* Strong attention to detail and proficiency in English communication.
* Proactive team player with a positive attitude.
* Ability to multitask and manage various sales opportunities effectively.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C (or equivalent).
* A-levels and/or degree-level qualifications preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in engineering, machinery, or agricultural sales.
* Additional language skills are a bonus.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £28,000 to £38,000 (based on experience)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 40 hours per week
Annual Leave: 31 days (including 8 UK bank holidays)
Location: Hayle
Travel: Occasional travel to industry trade shows, up to 3 weeks per year.
