Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer required to join a global, market-leading engineering manufacturer. The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will be based near Aylesbury, carrying out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic work. This includes the inspection, diagnosis, repair, servicing, and maintenance of specialist milk pumping, metering, and pipework systems fitted to transport vehicles within the farming and dairy sector. The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will ideally have hands-on service experience with pumps or transferable products such as HGVs, plant, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, refrigeration, rotating equipment, compressed air, valves, seals, or other similar electro-mechanical backgrounds. Service and maintain metering, pipework, valves, and PTO-driven pump assemblies. Perform planned maintenance, testing, and calibration to hygiene and operational standards. Replace or rebuild pump components such as seals, impellers, and drives. Keep accurate service records and parts inventory. Install and commission new vehicle-based pumping systems. Based near Aylesbury with occasional travel across the South UK. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Requirements Hands-on experience servicing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems. Background in any relevant engineered products such as pumps, compressors, HGVs, plant machinery, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, refrigeration, or other electro-mechanical equipment. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Basic electrical knowledge (three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous). A technical engineering degree / qualification, apprentice trained, FGas, or similar would be advantageous. Willingness to learn, succeed, and progress with a global manufacturer. Flexible and willing to travel to customer sites across the South UK when required.
