*The Role…*
Due to an increase in workload, we are now seeking a Electro Mechanical Fitter to work in our rotating machinery business based in Aberdeen.
In detail the role includes:-
* Being able to inspect and disassemble rotating machines both LV & HV
* Carrying out inspections, overhauls and repairs of various motors that have been used in explosive atmospheres
* Accurately assess and observe damage and wear on AC/DC electric motors and other machines
* Quality control and technical compliance in accordance with project requirements
* Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time
*Who we want…*
The successful candidate will posses:-
* Hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering either C&G or NVQ equivalent
* Previous experience within a Electro Mechanical environment
* Experience of rotating equipment as well as route cause analyses and measuring
* Be able to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work and offshore scopes
* Previous or current AEMT training course preferred but not essential
* Current offshore licence preferable but not essential
