Building Services Account Manager
M&E / Facilities Management Account
Location: Central London - Single Contract

Our client is a well-established and growing property and real estate organization, managing high-profile commercial M&E and Facilities Management accounts across the UK and globally. Due to internal restructuring, they seek an experienced and dynamic Account Manager/Director for a prestigious commercial client based in Central London. The role involves delivering a 5-star service, managing M&E maintenance, energy & sustainability, and soft services across a high-profile building.
The team comprises approximately 25 staff, including supervisory, engineering, and contract support/facilities personnel, with direct liaising with the on-site client. The salary range is approximately £75,000 - £85,000, complemented by bonuses, pension, and opportunities for training and development within a market-leading organization in the building services and facilities management sector.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience managing M&E or Total Facilities Management in a commercial environment, with experience managing Landlord Services or M&E/Total FM clients. While technical expertise is not mandatory due to a strong engineering team, relevant training such as ILM Level 3-5, IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH, or MIBFM is desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a team of approximately 25 staff
* Overseeing a P&L of around £2.5 million
* Delivering planned and reactive M&E maintenance
* Engaging with multiple stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance through auditing
* Implementing energy and sustainability initiatives
* Reducing work in progress (WIP)
* Identifying opportunities for project works
* Succession planning
